The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that the bridge on LA 733 (Eloi Broussard Road), at mile marker 1.25, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., given that the skies stay clear.
For travelers worrying about detours, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has not posted specific signage, however you can reroute using LA 92 (Milton Avenue), LA 339 (Verot School Road), in conjunction with LA 3073 (Ambassador Caffery Parkway) and US 167 (Johnston Street). Note, this detour route requires that extra bit of attention at the junctions, so plan your leave time with a little wiggle room, especially during peak hours.
