This includes essential civic centers such as City Hall, various community centers, and public libraries. However, it was noted that all emergency services, including police and fire departments, will maintain their regular operations.
In a move that affects recreational plans, key public spaces and programs will also hit a brief pause. The city's museum system, which encompasses Branigan Cultural Center, the Museum of Art, Museum of Nature and Science, and the Railroad Museum, will not welcome visitors on this day. Another significant closure is all Senior Programs facilities and services, which are a staple for local retirees.
