Las Cruces Police had launched an extensive effort to locate Atlas Torres after he disappeared in the early hours, prompting concerns for his safety.
According to Las Cruces Police on Facebook, Atlas was last seen around 7 a.m. on Monday, on the 700 block of Augustine Avenue in Las Cruces. Standing 3-feet tall and weighing approximately 70 pounds, the young boy with red hair was dressed in a blue Los Angeles Dodgers shirt and blue shorts at the time of his disappearance.
The police department, in an updated social media post, confirmed that Atlas was located and is safe. They extended their gratitude to those who helped disseminate information on this missing person case.
