Drivers should avoid the U.S. Route 63 and Boone County Route AC intersection near Lenoir Street tonight. Lenoir Street will be closed from 7 p.m. on September 3 until 6 a.m. tomorrow while crews install a new storm sewer pipe. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), the closure is just south of New Haven Road.
The installation is expected to be completed overnight, but drivers are advised to plan ahead. Because of the street’s narrow space and the depth required for the pipe, a full closure is necessary. Choosing a detour in advance can help avoid delays.
MoDOT notes that construction schedules may change depending on the weather, so travelers should watch for updates.
