Tensions escalated into violence at the Silverwood Apartments in East Tulsa, resulting in one individual wielding a machete against another during a late-night altercation. According to the Tulsa Police Department's Facebook post, officers were called to the scene on September 22nd, around 10:25 p.m., after an argument between two men at the complex near 24th and S. Memorial took a dangerous turn. The dispute reportedly began over tools and ended with 58-year-old Davide Bundy allegedly attacking the victim with a machete, inflicting a head laceration.
The incident led to a tactical police response after Bundy locked himself in his apartment and wouldn't speak to officers. Efforts to get him to come out were ignored. Police had to get a search warrant, and once they did, they entered and arrested him without any trouble, as reported by the Tulsa Police Department.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries. Meanwhile, Davide Bundy was arrested and has admitted to the assault, according to the Tulsa Police Department report. He now faces a charge of Assault with a Deadly Weapon. It's important to note that an arrest is not a conviction, and Bundy's legal process is just beginning.
