FOX 32 Chicago reports that police responded to calls of a shooting around 10:09 p.m., where they discovered the victim, riddled with multiple gunshot wounds, lying unresponsive on the sidewalk on the 4000 block of West Wilcox Street.
The urgency of the situation brought forth no reprieve for the wounded man, who was swiftly conveyed to Mount Sinai Hospital; however, his battle was lost to the severity of his injuries, and he was pronounced dead. As of now, his next of kin have yet to be notified, and his name remains withheld.
