
A homicide investigation is underway in Clarkston after the body of a man was found early yesterday near a popular walking trail. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the victim has been identified as 30-year-old Rashard Grier. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the face and abdomen, and while officers responded to the scene on the 3600 block of Church Street, the suspected time of the fatal shooting was around 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
The discovery of the body was not made until approximately 7:45 a.m. yesterday, initiating what has quickly to become a tense search for the shooter.
