The Marietta Police Athletic League (PAL) is gearing up to host its 2nd Annual Fall Festival – Family Fun House on September 26. According to a press release from the City of Marietta, the event is set to provide an array of interactive games, costumed characters for photo ops, and various local food vendors for community enjoyment. The celebration will run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugh L. Grogan Jr. Community Center.

Free to the public, the festival gives Marietta residents a safe, engaging environment to mingle and partake in festivities, all within the boundaries of the local community center. "We are thrilled to welcome the community back for a bigger and better Fall Festival this year," Daneea Badio-McCray, Executive Director of Marietta PAL, said in the press release.

Aside from the games and photo opportunities, the festival boasts prizes, giveaways, and a showcase of local small businesses. The young leaders from PAL have played a central role in channeling their creativity and dedication into the festival's design. They've been integral in activities planning, vendor recruitment, and crafting an event that reflects the interests of their peers and the community.

The PAL’s mission to foster a nurturing relationship between law enforcement and youth is reflected in such events, made possible through the support of business and organization sponsors. Those interested in joining as vendors, sponsors, or volunteers can find details on the official Marietta PAL webpage or by contacting Daneea Badio-McCray via the provided email or phone number. Free off-site parking will be available at Turner Chapel Church, with shuttles transporting attendees to and from the event, as mentioned on the city's official website.

Established in 2007, the Marietta Police Athletic League, is a nonprofit organization that bridges the gap between law enforcement officers, and the youth. It advocates for community integration through sports, the arts, academics, and recreation. The Marietta PAL continues to be a pillar in Marietta and Cobb County, shaping the lives of numerous children and families year after year.
