Memphis residents are on alert following a brazen morning robbery at 3466 Lamar Avenue. On Sunday, Memphis Police were dispatched after an altercation over money quickly escalated to an armed robbery. According to the Memphis Police Department, the victim was engaged in a dispute with a woman when a man was called into the room, brandishing a firearm and forcibly taking the victim's cash.
Police provided descriptions of the suspects involved in this incident. The first, a female estimated to be between the ages of 20-25 and about 5’5″ and 130 pounds, was reported wearing a black wig, a jacket, and pants emblazoned with “Ed Hardy” on the back. Wearing a gray and black hoodie paired with a black and white Nike backpack, was called by the woman to the room where the altercation turned into a robbery, Suspect #2, a male also believed to be in his early twenties, stood about 6’0” tall and weighed approximately 180 pounds, and was noted for his dreads.
