Memphis police are investigating a car theft that happened last Saturday, at about 6:35 p.m. at a gas station on 3150 South Perkins Road. Officers said a 2016 Nissan Maxima was stolen while parked at the pumps, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Memphis police reported that a vehicle was stolen at gas pumps by a suspect wearing a brown hoodie with white writing, long blue shorts, and black slides. Another person waited nearby in a gray Honda Civic or Accord with a temporary tag. The stolen car, with a license plate ending in “TAB,” was last seen going north on South Perkins Road, as reported by the Memphis Police Department.
The Memphis Police Department is asking the public for help in a recent case. Tips can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH (2274). Police say community involvement is important in solving crimes and recovering stolen property.
