Police are on the hunt for two suspects involved in an aggravated assault that took place over the weekend in Memphis. According to a report from the Memphis Police Department, the incident occurred yesterday at approximately 10:15 AM near the intersection of AW Willis at Front Street.
Initial responses gathered by officers at the scene described the culprits as firing multiple shots from a burgundy Jaguar SUV; the same vehicle was later seen fleeing north on Front Street, as confirmed by surveillance footage in the area, the suspects exited the vehicle before firing toward the victims they sped away after the attack. No injuries were reported, although a vehicle was hit during the shooting spree.
The Memphis Police Department has released descriptions of the two suspects. Both are identified as slim, medium-complexioned Black males in their early twenties. The first suspect, who drove the SUV, had short hair and was seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue pants. He was armed with a black handgun. The other suspect is noted for having an afro hairstyle and was clothed in a white T-shirt and black pants, armed with a black rifle during the assault.
