A woman from Memphis has been taken into custody after an incident where she reportedly refused to release a father and his two young children from her vehicle, claiming she had an alternate destination in mind for them. According to Action News 5, the woman, identified as Latricia Allen, 40, faces charges of assault and three counts of felony kidnapping.
Upon seeing the father and his children walking, Allen offered them a ride, for which the father agreed and offered $20 in return. Shortly after, Allen made an unsettling statement.
