According to WSVN, the incident, which began around 8:30 a.m. at a Chevron gas station located at the intersection of 42nd Avenue and Northwest 11th Street, resulted in heavy police presence and streets closures in the vicinity. The individual, potentially armed, remained inside a white SUV that took center stage in the ongoing investigation.
The situation swiftly escalated to a tactical law enforcement operation, with 7Skyforce capturing the scene from above as officers took to quickly establish a perimeter behind the doors of their vehicles, guns readied. The area from Northwest 41st Avenue to 42nd Avenue between 7th Street and 12th Street has been shut down, with a traffic advisory from Miami PD cautioning motorists and the public to avoid the area.
