According to Arizona's Family, a white sedan appeared to have been rear-ended, with extensive damage to its rear bumper. The aftermath of the multi-car collision prompted authorities to temporarily shut down the westbound traffic lanes as they cleared the scene. The eastbound lanes remained unaffected by the incident. Consequently, morning commuters were advised to expect delays during the rush hour.
