New Orleans Police Department has issued a request for public cooperation in the identification and apprehension of a man suspected of vehicle theft. The authorities have provided an image of the suspect, who may go by the name Eddie Sincere, and is allegedly known to frequent the Algiers Point area, as reported by the New Orleans Police Department.
The case opened on September 3, when at approximately 10:30 a.m., a vehicle owner entrusted his car to the suspect for body work in the 300 block of Leboeuf Street, only to have the suspect disappear with the vehicle. The New Orleans Police Department, through diligent efforts, later recovered the stolen car in the 3200 block of North Galvez Street. However, the suspect remained at large and efforts to contact him proved fruitless.
According to a statement obtained by the New Orleans Police Department News, "The suspect did not complete the work or return the vehicle and attempts to retrieve the vehicle were unsuccessful." The police urge anyone with information to come forward and assist in the suspect's capture, contributing to the safety and trust within the New Orleans community.
