
The New Orleans Police Department is reaching out to the community for aid in identifying and tracking down a suspect linked to a theft that occurred last month. In a news release from NOPD, officials provided details on the incident which took place in a business situated in the 3400 block of Ridgeway Boulevard. The theft was committed around 8:15 a.m. on the morning of August 18, 2025.
A snapshot of the alleged perpetrator has been disseminated by the NOPD, in efforts to solicit tips from the public that may lead to an arrest. The individual is accused of entering the unnamed business and illicitly acquiring property, the details of which remain unspecified. Police are actively seeking any information, that can assist in resolving the case.
Descriptions or relevant characteristics of the suspect were not immediately released to the public, nor were details of the stolen property divulged. The NOPD has yet to disclose whether the incident caught on surveillance cameras in or around the premises might provide further clues in their investigation.
