The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is seeking public assistance in locating Jakobe “Kobe” Stevens, a Black male born on November 18, 2003, in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm. According to the New Orleans Police Department, the incident occurred late last month, at approximately 10:48 a.m. in the 1700 block of Hendee Street. Stevens allegedly brandished a firearm, threatened a victim, and fled the scene before officers arrived.
A photograph of Stevens has been released with the request for public assistance. Authorities advise that members of the public should not approach him but report any sightings or information directly to the New Orleans Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing as the New Orleans Police Department continues efforts to locate Stevens and gather additional information related to the incident.
