According to a MoDOT traffic alert, utility crews are set to quickly descend upon a stretch of Route CC just east of Main Street for overnight work scheduled between Rosewood Lane and Commercial Road.
The lane closures will begin at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday and are expected to last until the early birds start chirping on Monday at around 5 a.m. Those planning to travel during these hours might want to carefully consider alternative routes as flaggers will be stationed to orchestrate the flow of vehicles around the crews hard at work.
For those who live and breathe by the GPS, there's no need to worry about sudden reroutes—Christian County Route CC will remain open in both directions throughout the utilities' ballet of maintenance.
