The individual, whose image has been circulated by authorities, proceeded to punch the victim and steal personal items including a wallet and a necklace. Following the initial attack, it is reported that seven additional suspects entered the victim's vehicle to further plunder his possessions.

The victim was able to escape the scene during the chaotic event, as the aggressors continued to ransack the car, taking items such as a cellphone, car keys, a speaker, and, a child car seat. The brutality and brazenness of this crime have led the NYPD to reach out to the community for assistance in tracking down the culprits.
