Travelers and residents of Pigeon Forge, brace yourselves for a significant disruption starting next week as the Ogle Drive bridge is set for closure. This move comes as part of a broader statewide effort to modernize outdated infrastructure. The Pigeon Forge Police Department took to social media, announcing that the bridge would be closed off completely starting September 9.
The announcement outlined plans to keep traffic moving, noting that a temporary bridge will be built to preserve commuter access and minimize disruption during the project. "We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve safety and travel efficiency in our community," the Pigeon Forge Police Department stated.
