Residents in need of services from the Republic License Office should make note of its upcoming temporary closure. According to the Missouri DOR, the office, which currently stands at 243 West US Highway 60, will shutter on Friday, October 3, and is set to reopen next Thursday, October 9, at the same location. During the closure, individuals needing vehicle and driver licensing services may visit nearby offices in Aurora, Crane, or Nixa.
The Republic License Office will resume operations with updated hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To accommodate service needs during the transition, the Missouri Department of Revenue encourages customers to use available online options, including phone-in registration and license plate renewal, which offer alternatives to in-person visits.
