According to an announcement from St. Charles Parish, Ormond Center Court is out of commission. The stretch from 150 Ormond Center Court, where you'd find Rotolo's Pizza, down to 3001 Ormond Blvd right by Buddy's Frostop, is currently tangled up in construction efforts.
For those in the know, or now in the know courtesy of St. Charles Parish's announcement, emergency vehicles still have a path. They're using Bunge’s heavy haul road, which opens up a route to access Noel Street from the back end, skirting around Lorraine Street in the process.
Local residents and their daily commutes are being reshaped by these infrastructure projects, and patience, as always, is going to be your best passenger. Keep an eye on updates, as the roads of today may not be the roads of tomorrow.
