The dangerous exchange occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Interstate 90, as stated by MassLive. The distressed driver, having a bullet hole visible in their car, managed to pull away and reach the safety of the Westborough Service Plaza.
Responding to the scene, Massachusetts State Police found the victim unharmed and proceeded with an investigation. Subsequent to the shooter's flight from the site of the incident, the vehicle damaged by the gunfire was secured as key evidence.
