Greater St. Louis Inc. has appointed Ron Kitchens as its new Chief Executive Officer. Kitchens, formerly president and CEO of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce, will begin his role in early November, First Alert 4 reports. He moves from leading a $1.7 million operation to overseeing an organization with about $20 million.
Kitchens, who previously worked in Missouri under former U.S. Senator John Danforth, brings over three decades of experience across multiple states, including Michigan, Alabama, and Texas. Andrew C. Taylor, Executive Chairman of Enterprise Mobility and Founding Chair of GSL, commented on Kitchens’ appointment in an interview highlighted by FOX2Now.
During his time at the Wichita Falls Chamber, Kitchens oversaw several major sector investments, including facilities for Amazon and WinCo Foods, KSDK News reports. His appointment follows an eight-month search after the departure of GSL’s founding CEO.
