Last week, while conducting routine retail patrols, the San Ramon Police Department's Organized Retail Theft Unit made an unexpected discovery in the Home Depot parking lot. Upon further investigation, officers noticed a vehicle with expired registration and identified that the driver was wanted on a felony warrant.
The charges included assault with a deadly weapon, brandishing, and drug offenses, according to an announcement from the San Ramon Police Department's official social media channel.
After confirming the suspect's identity and outstanding warrant, they made an arrest, which was executed without incident. The individual was then booked for their alleged crimes.
