The City of Sandy Springs is riding high on their recent win at the annual The City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA) conference, snatching the 2025 Savvy Award for their fancy new Brand Guidelines for the Performing Arts Center. According to a statement from the city, the guidelines bagged the accolade in the Publications category for Style or Branding Guide, triumphing over competitors nationwide.
It turns out the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center (PAC) had an identity crisis. After its grand 2018 opening, it was mistaken for an extension of the City Springs District because of their shared space and intertwined operations.
The newly minted brand went live in late 2024, showing off its swanky redesign at their official ticket hub, SandySpringsPAC.com. The revamped site is all about showcasing the PAC's eclectic venues like Byers Theatre and the Studio Theatre, not to mention the Conference Center, and CityBar & Café.
The numbers tell a story of success – within just five months, their website racked up 186,266 views and saw 54,243 visitors who weren't just window shopping.
Bill Haggett, the Executive Director of Sandy Springs PAC, told the city's news, “Winning this award is a testament to our team’s hard work to establish a brand identity that’s rooted in our core mission and unique identifiers. Our goal has been to attract a diverse audience, increase visibility and raise awareness for our venue. This brand does that, and I am proud that our team was recognized for the work.”
