The first rescheduled meeting will take place in Sierra Vista on September 17, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fire Station #3, located at 675 Giulio Cesare, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. This gives residents another chance to effectively engage with county officials over the proposed jail project.
According to the original notification, the Benson community meeting is slated for September 24, also from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, taking place at the Benson Community Center, 705 W. Union Street, Benson, AZ 85602. These sessions aim to brief residents on election details and collect feedback through a public Q&A.
The county also plans to directly reach the broader audience by livestreaming the discussions on Facebook Live. The live events will be accessible on the county's official page.
