According to the district's social media post, the business located at 3805 Pontchartrain Dr STE 13 in Slidell, has committed to providing four grooms a year for the firefighting canine.
These grooming sessions are about more than just keeping Chief Mooney looking sharp; they are essential to maintaining his health and service readiness. Grooming can to greatly reduce potential health issues, particularly for a working dog exposed regularly to smoke and debris.
