Launching just after 7 p.m., the rocket's first stage booster, marking its 28th flight, drew eyes skyward, with its exhaust plume illuminated by the sun's residual light, creating a comet-like appearance in the early evening sky. As is custom for SpaceX, following stage separation, the first stage was expected to touch down on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship positioned in the Pacific Ocean, CBS 8 reported.
