The Village Police Department and The Village Fire Department played a charity softball game that concluded with the police team winning in extra innings. The police team, down 13-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning, tied the game and ultimately won 14-13, as confirmed by a social media post from The Village Police Department.
The event served as both a competition between local departments and a fundraiser for Special Olympics Oklahoma, raising $3,209.52, according to a social media post. The department thanked supporters and congratulated the winners.
