In a residential area of Brentwood-Darlington, a grim discovery was made this past Saturday, where three individuals were found dead in a home. The Portland Police Bureau reported, members of its East Precinct were dispatched to a home on the 7000 block of Southeast 64th Avenue after receiving a call about a suicide at around 5:05 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two women and a man, all with fatal gunshot wounds.
Following the incident, homicide detectives from the Portland Police Bureau began their investigation at the scene. They have not suggested that the deaths pose an ongoing threat to the public, according to an official statement from the department. Meanwhile, the PPB’s Crisis Response Team was dispatched to offer emotional support and assistance to family members and those within the community rocked by the tragedy.
