
Late last night, law enforcement responded to a shooting that left three men injured in Concord. According to a statement released on social media by the Concord Police Department, the victims, whose identities have not been disclosed, were transported to John Muir Concord Medical Center for treatment.
The incident occurred near Salvio Street at approximately 10:20 PM. Officers were dispatched promptly to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire. Preliminary details indicate that shots were fired before the victims were rushed to the hospital.
Concord police quickly identified a suspect vehicle connected to the case. In a coordinated response, deputies from the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle in Bay Point and conducted a traffic stop. The occupants were detained without incident.
Authorities report that all three victims remain hospitalized in stable condition and are expected to survive. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing.
