A DUI incident in Tulsa led to a crash involving a police car on South Highway 75. According to a Facebook post by the Tulsa Police Department, the collision occurred on Friday last week at around 8:50 p.m. when a black Toyota truck struck a police car that was stationed at the scene of an injury collision.

The driver of the Toyota, Thang Kap, was arrested and charged with a second-offense DUI after allegedly being under the influence of alcohol. Kap was booked into David L. Moss and later bonded out. A future court date has been scheduled to address the charges. No injuries were reported in the crash.

This was the second night in a row a collision occurred in the same section of South Highway 75 around the same time. Tulsa Police Department remind the public not to drive while impaired and encouraged the use of designated drivers, rideshare services, or contacting friends or family for a ride after drinking.
