
Early this morning, an automobile collision shook Boston's South End, leaving two police officers with serious injuries. The incident, reported to have occurred at the intersection of East Berkeley and Washington streets, took place around 4 a.m., with on-scene footage capturing the moment of impact. According to WCVB, local authorities quickly responded to the scene of wreck.
NBC Boston described the crash as involving multiple vehicles, stating the two officers endured injuries severe yet non-fatal. They were transported to a hospital to receive medical treatment. A third person, involved in a secondary vehicle, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to an hospital.
The Boston Police Department relayed that the officers' injuries, though serious, did not threaten their lives. Meanwhile, Boston EMS confirmed that all three injured parties were indeed taken to area hospitals following the incident. As of now, the specific circumstances that led to the crash have not been disclosed by police officials.
