
A Vallejo man has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of another man found on a Napa County roadway over the weekend, authorities said. Bryan Alexis De Paz Gomez, 22, has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the killing of 20-year-old Salvador De Jesus Castillo-Hernandez, whose body was discovered on Monticello Road, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office. Napa County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest yesterday.
On Sunday, deputies from the Napa County Sheriff's Office responded after receiving a call about a man spotted covered in blood and unresponsive by the California Highway Patrol dispatch at approximately 9:40 AM. At the 2600 block of Monticello Road, officers found the deceased Castillo-Hernandez with multiple gunshot wounds. After a thorough investigation, Gomez was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections for the murder of the Concord resident, the Sheriff's Office stated.
