A daycare worker in Wake Forest has been charged with child abuse following two separate incidents, one in April and another in August of this year. The Wake Forest Police Department confirmed that 23-year-old Mallory Kemple was involved in situations that caused injuries to juvenile victims at the Wake Forest KinderCare on Friendship Chapel Road, according to a recent announcement on the Town of Wake Forest’s official website.
The first incident surfaced during an investigation started in August, which led authorities to discover a prior case at the same daycare center. Kemple now faces two counts of misdemeanor child abuse, according to the Wake Forest Police Department. Both cases remain under active investigation.
Details about the injuries or circumstances have not been released. The facility is part of a national chain that provides early childhood education and care.
