The South Patrol Group Deputy Chief, Kylee Hawks, noted the operation's effectiveness in disrupting local criminal activity. "Proactive policing disrupts the cycle of violence that harms our community," she said. "By focusing our resources, we are making good arrests and keeping our neighbors safe." Among those arrested was 29-year-old Trayshawn Hall, implicated in three felony probation violations involving narcotics and manslaughter charges. Not to be overlooked is the capture of Brandon Tristan, 24, initially brought in on a family violence warrant, only to be later tied to a robbery, resulting in an upgraded charge of Aggravated Robbery.
The strategic operation also pinpointed the whereabouts of Edward Gallegos, 42, who faced multiple first-degree felonies, including Aggravated Assault - Family Violence, and felony drug charges. Dallas SWAT, with the aid of Cockrell Hill PD, was responsible for Gallegos' arrest.
