Carnell, the Interim State Superintendent, unequivocally stated, per the Michigan Department of Education. The honor bestows upon schools the title of Exemplary High-Performing Schools, which means they rank as the highest-performing in the state based on state assessments or nationally normed tests.
The named schools stretch across various cities with public schools such as Amerman Elementary in Northville and City High Middle School in Grand Rapids, as well as nonpublic schools, including All Saints Catholic School in Canton and Bishop Foley Catholic High School in Madison Heights, making the list.
