The Pentagon announced the mobilization of 200 Oregon National Guard troops for the Portland Force Protection Mission. These soldiers are now federal assets under Title 10 orders and will support U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other federal law enforcement in Portland. Their tasks include enforcing federal laws and protecting federal property, as per the Oregon Military Department release.
