Early yesterday morning, a juvenile in Atlanta faced gunfire after a vehicle break-in went awry. The Atlanta Police Department reported to a shooting at 3390 Fairburn Rd SW, where they found a male juvenile with a bullet wound to his foot. According to the official release, the incident took place around 2:20 a.m. and the injured party was conscious when taken to Arthur M. Blank Children’s Hospital.
The situation escalated when the juvenile was confronted by the vehicle's owner during the break-in, leading to the shooting. The owner, 51-year-old Yoshay Carter, was taken into custody, and charged with Aggravated Assault, he was subsequently transported to the Fulton County Jail without incident.
