Thursday promises more of the sunshine with a high creeping up to about 75 degrees; winds are expected to stay light but could hit gusts of 15 mph as the northwest breeze strengthens in the morning. The approaching weekend remains consistently pleasant, with Friday hitting a high near 74 degrees and the winds remaining low.
As Saturday rolls in, Atlantans will experience mostly sunny conditions and a slight dip in the high temperature to around 72 degrees. However, the night may bring some clouds, setting a low of around 52 degrees. The variance in weather begins Sunday, where there's a slight 20 percent chance for afternoon showers amidst partly sunny skies, and the possibility of rain increases slightly going into the night, as detailed by the NWS.
With a new week starting, Monday holds onto a persistent 30 percent chance of rain and a high near 66 degrees, while the low in the evening could stay around 51 degrees, leading into Tuesday which brightens up a bit as the forecast predicts it to be mostly sunny with a high close to 67 degrees.
