Officers from District D-4 visited Little Sprouts Early Education and Child Care in the South End as part of a community outreach event. The visit focused on safety and activities for young children.
The officers’ visit was part of an ongoing community outreach effort. They read stories to the children and discussed safety tips for school and home. "Officers spent time reading to the students and talking about important safety tips they can use both at school and at home," according to the Boston Police Department.
During the visit, children had the opportunity to see a BPD cruiser up close. They explored the vehicle and learned about public safety and community helpers.
