The Boston Police Department has issued a community alert and is requesting the public's help in locating 13-year-old Zaniya "Princess" Davis of Dorchester, who has been reported missing since Saturday, October 4. According to a statement obtained by the Boston Police Department's official website, Davis was last seen around 12:00 PM on that day.
Davis is described as a Black female, standing at about 5’2” tall, and weighs approximately 138 pounds, with brown hair styled in braids. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black leggings, blue Crocs, and carrying a Sprayground backpack and a black ski mask—a detail that might make her easily identifiable. Officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to the call for the missing juvenile from her home in Dorchester at approximately 8:30 PM.
There is an added concern as Davis was expected to report to a youth residence in Roxbury by 7:00 PM the same day but failed to arrive. She is known to frequent areas in Downtown Boston, Revere, and Cambridge, which could be critical information for those in and around these locations who may have information on her whereabouts.
The department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding Davis's disappearance. The public is urged to contact 911 or District C-11 Detectives at (617) 343-4335 with any information. "Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Zaniya Davis is urged to contact detectives," the Boston Police statement emphasized. Additionally, community members can provide information anonymously through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line via phone at 1-800-494-TIPS, by texting the word "TIP" to CRIME (27463), or online by submitting a tip via the Boston Police CrimeStoppers website.
