Boston Police Department’s District A-1 detectives are seeking a suspect connected to multiple burglaries in downtown Boston. The incidents began on August 21, involving several break-ins at local businesses where a pry tool was used to enter after hours. Similar burglaries have since been reported at Boston University, Cambridge, and Northeastern University late last month.
As per the Boston Police Department release, the suspect is described as a Black male with a beard, wearing a black jacket or hoodie, a baseball cap with lettering, and carrying a dark backpack. Reported stolen items include credit cards, cash, electronics, and camera equipment.
Anyone with information is asked to contact District A-1 detectives. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS (8477), by texting TIP to CRIME (27463), or through the Boston Police CrimeStoppers website. Photos and videos related to the burglaries can also be shared anonymously.
