The Boston Police Department is seeking help from the public to locate a suspect involved in an assault and battery incident combined with shoplifting at the CVS Pharmacy on Boylston Street in Back Bay. Officers responded to the scene around 5:13 p.m. on Thursday after receiving reports of a disturbance, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
According to the Boston Police Department, a woman entered the store, took unspecified merchandise, and got into a physical altercation with a security guard before leaving without paying. She was last seen standing briefly outside the store before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Police are searching for a Black woman in her 30s who was last seen wearing a red jacket and white shorts. The Boston Police Department has released her photo and is asking the public to share any information. Tips can be given anonymously, and identities will be kept confidential.
