At about 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, officers from the District E-5 Drug Control Unit (Roslindale/West Roxbury) arrested 18-year-old Caleb Gomez of Norwood near Willers Street and Desoto Road. Gomez was wanted on a warrant from West Roxbury District Court for several charges, including assault with a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a home, and multiple firearm offenses, according to the Boston Police Department.

During a search after his arrest, officers found two plastic bags containing crack cocaine. As a result, Gomez was also charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, as reported by the Boston Police Department.

Gomez had previously been featured on the Boston Police Department’s Most Wanted List. He is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
