The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will close the Missouri Route 76/Business 65 bridge over Lake Taneycomo in Branson starting October 13. The bridge will remain closed until mid-November for rehabilitation work.
During the closure, all lanes will be shut down, and detours will direct drivers to U.S. Route 65 and Business 65. MoDOT will place signs and message boards in advance to notify drivers. The schedule may change depending on weather or other factors.
This project is part of a larger $2.2 million effort to repair bridges in Taney, Dade, and McDonald counties. Louis-Company LLC of Grain Valley is the prime contractor.
