Last week, a report of a suspicious circumstance in Brentwood led to the arrest of a 42-year-old woman from Antioch. The incident took place at the 5900 block of Lone Tree Way, where Brentwood police officers were dispatched after a reporting party claimed to have heard gunshots in a commercial parking lot.
Upon arrival, officers promptly detained three individuals near the vehicle connected to the sounds. In the course of their investigation, authorities discovered an unserialized loaded firearm and a spent casing near the car. Furthermore, a substantial amount of drugs and paraphernalia, indicative of narcotic sales, were uncovered at the scene. According to a social media post from the City of Brentwood Police Department, Veronica Greenhouse, 42, was subsequently arrested and now faces multiple firearm-related charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm, as well as possession of narcotics for sale.
The Brentwood Police Department's social media update details that Greenhouse was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
