Carroll County residents will head to the polls on November 4 for several elections. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced a Special Election for Public Service Commission Districts 2 and 3. Voters will also decide on the renewal of the 2027 SPLOST, according to the Carroll County website.
Municipal elections are also scheduled that day in Bowdon, Carrollton, Mt. Zion, Villa Rica, and Whitesburg. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Voters are advised to confirm their precinct location through the Georgia My Voter Page. The deadline to register to vote is tomorrow.
Early voting will take place at the Carroll County Election Office, 997 Newnan Rd in Carrollton, from Tuesday next week through October 31. An additional early voting site will be available at the Powell Park Recreation Center in Villa Rica from October 27 to October 31.
