The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced the temporary closure of Route K in Cedar County for pipe replacement work. The project will take place today through Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.
According to Missouri Department of Transportation, the closure affects the section of Route K connecting Missouri Route 32 and Missouri Route 39. During work hours, all lanes will be closed to traffic, but they will reopen in the evenings. Driveways and entrances at both ends of the work zone will remain accessible, though through traffic will not be permitted.
No official detour has been established, but drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes. Warning signs and message boards will be posted near the site to alert motorists. Missouri Department of Transportation advises travelers to check the Traveler Information Map for updates on road conditions and closures during the construction period.
